Peace leadership is an emerging discipline and defined as:
an individual with the guiding vision and responsibility to lead peacemaking, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding activities in an effort to move a fragile sate, instability state, and weak state to a sustainable stable state. The emotional intelligence and adaptive leadership ability to strategically navigate the diplomatic, political, human security, humanitarian crisis management, and stabilization and reconstruction practices within a volatile, complex, uncertain, and ambiguous environment.
